When you purchase an ORIGINAL painting, keep a few things in mind:
1. Paintings can be distorted or destroyed when exposed to excessive humidity or water. If you have questions about how to store/display your new painting, don't hesitate to ask.
2. Some original paintings have paint or pen marks on the backs from being moved around our work station. That is part of the charm! They are not factory printed or machine-made. They are individual pieces of work and therefore have unique characteristics.
3. Take care to ensure there is a dry location that your mail carrier can deposit your art if you won't be home to receive the delivery. Once the art leaves the shop, you have the most control over its safe arrival.
I have been known to paint people. I’ve even been known to paint *on* people (usually when they’re sleeping and have a good sense of humor). But as of now, I’m not painting people for commissioned portraits.
Birds, bunnies, horses, chickens — if you have a furry, feathered or scaled member of your family, I’ll paint it! All I need is a cute story about how much you love your pet and a great picture to get started.
I would love to paint your entire furry family! But I do not offer discounts for purchasing more than one portrait.
Because I want to make my art accessible to anyone, I keep my prices as reasonable as possible and offer an array of sizes. Unfortunately, having a small business like this means that I also have to consider fees, taxes, cost of supplies and overhead, and after all of that, my margins are very slim. And the time and resources used to create the paintings remains the same to me, regardless of how many paintings you purchase.
I hope you'll still consider my artistic talent and time worth the cost!
No. The paintings that you purchase will arrive in a clear cellophane sleeve, without matting or frame. If a picture of an available piece is shown in a frame, it’s only meant as an example of how you might display your artwork.
