This is a fine art print of an original watercolor painting that was created by me (Allison Gray) and is signed in the corner. To create these pieces, I begin with a base sketch. Then I create layers of pooling and splashes of watercolor and acrylic paints to build shadows and dimensions and bring my subject to life.
After the initial layers have dried, I roughly outline and shade with a fine point art pen. And finally I follow up with a detail brush to thicken the outlines and enhance some shading or highlights.
