As a kid, I loved coloring in the lines. And I still do. Except now, I’m the one drawing the lines.
What child doesn’t grow up loving to draw and paint? Every one, right? I wasn’t any different. As a kid, I loved coloring in the lines. And I still do. Except now, I’m the one drawing the lines. And, admittedly, I don’t always stay in the lines these days. But my love of art has only grown with time. Go Gray was just an idea years ago. My brother and his wife came up with the name to accompany my creative skills and interest in pursuing a professional career in the field of fine arts.
Then, in 2012 I moved with my husband to the island-country of Grenada where I began painting custom maps and pet portraits for friends.
Next thing I knew, complete strangers were contacting me for my work. I won an award through UncommonGoods and my artwork found a place on their website where prints began selling across the country. In the following years, my artwork won two more contests and I finally opened up an official store on Etsy. Most recently, prints of my original work began appearing on Wayfair and can be found in HomeGoods stores across the country.
Now, Go Gray Artwork is located in Bristol, Connecticut. I have a gorgeous studio in our cape cod, flooded with natural light, where I paint daily, in the company of my goofy and loving dog.
