AS A KID, I LOVED COLORING IN THE LINES. AND I STILL DO.
EXCEPT NOW, I’M THE ONE DRAWING THE LINES.
Allison has always had a passion for creating art and a fascination for its many forms. She excelled in her advanced art classes in high school and, although she pursued a writing degree in college, her love of art never diminished. It wasn’t until 2012, when she moved with her husband to the island-country of Grenada, that Go Gray finally emerged. There, she began painting custom maps and pet portraits for friends. Her audience unexpectedly broadened and her hobby began flourishing into a small business.
Allison’s art won awards through UncommonGoods and FinerWorks and some of her early pieces were sold on UncommonGoods’ website. In the following years, she opened an official store on Etsy where she now sells original art, prints and custom portraits.
In a couple short years, she’d already painted over 3,000 pet portraits and her artwork availability has expanded internationally. Copies of her original work can be easily purchased online or in stores at Target, Wayfair, Art.com and HomeGoods.
Currently, Go Gray Artwork is nestled against Lake Erie in Northwestern Pennsylvania, where Allison works out of her home, in the company of her husband, their baby boy, young daughter, and their goofy and loving dog.
